Boss Guide: The Stone Golem (Ancient Guardian)

The Stone Golem is a massive sentinel that guards the ancient ruins. Unlike the Staglord, this isn't a duel—it's a demolition job. The Golem has near-infinite defense against standard light attacks. To defeat it, you must utilize Environmental Interaction and Precision Targeting.

🛡️ Preparation

• Recommended Level: 20+
• Best Weapon: Greatsword (for high Impact damage) or Longbow (with Explosive Arrows).
• Essential Tool: Grappling Hook (Upgraded). You will need this to reach its weak points.
• Essential Items: * Impact Elixirs: Increases the "Stagger" value of your heavy attacks.

⚔️ The Gimmick: Armor Plates & The Core

The Golem is covered in thick stone plates. Attacking these directly does almost zero damage to its actual HP.

1. Exposing the Core: You must knock off the stone plates covering its chest and back to reveal the glowing "Mana Core."
2. Weak Point Indicators: Look for cracks in the stone. These areas take 3x more stagger damage.

⚔️ Phase 1: The Walking Mountain

The Golem moves slowly but every hit is a potential one-shot.

• Ground Slam: It slams both fists down, creating a shockwave.
  • Reaction: Jump rather than dodge. Being in the air negates the ground-based tremor.
• Bellowing Roar: A sonic attack that stuns Kliff if he is too close.
  • Reaction: Look for the Golem inhaling air. Move to its rear immediately.

⚔️ Phase 2: The Rodeo (Climbing the Beast)

Once you deal enough stagger damage to its legs, the Golem will momentarily kneel.

• The Climb: Use your Grappling Hook to zip-line onto its shoulders.
• The Struggle: While on its back, a "Balance Bar" will appear. Use your movement keys to stay centered while the Golem tries to shake you off.
• Precision Strike: Once stable, use your primary weapon to strike the exposed Core on its upper back.

🤼 The Winning Strategy: "Physics Over Force"

1. Use the Environment: Lead the Golem toward the large stone pillars in the arena. When it charges and hits a pillar, it will automatically stun itself for 5 seconds.
2. Explosive Barrels: Throughout the ruins, you'll find barrels. Use your Grab and Throw mechanic to hurl these at the Golem's joints (knees and elbows).
3. The Finisher: When the Golem's HP reaches 10%, it will collapse. Perform a Leaping Finishing Move from a high ledge directly onto its chest Core for a cinematic kill.

• Ancient Golem Heart: A legendary material used to craft Level 3 Weapon Upgrades.
• Living Stone Shards: Used for permanent Defense Buff potions.
• Guardian’s Sigil: Unlocks a new branch in the "Ancient Skills" tree.
