🛡️ Preparation

• Recommended Level: 12+
• Best Weapon: Sword & Shield (for parrying) or Greatsword (for breaking his guard).
• Essential Items: * Stamina Elixirs: You will be blocking a lot.
  • Fire Oil: The Staglord’s cape and the surrounding reeds are flammable.

⚔️ Phase 1: The Mounted Knight

The fight begins with the Staglord on his warhorse. He is fast and will try to trample you.

• The Charge: He will gallop toward you for a spear thrust.
  • Counter: Do not dodge too early. Wait for the spear to gleam, then Dodge-Roll to his left (his shield side).
• Horse Kick: If you stay behind the horse, it will kick you.
  • Counter: Stay to the side and focus your attacks on the Horse's legs to force a dismount.
• Pro Tip: Use a Shield Charge right as he gallops past you to deal massive stagger damage to the mount.

⚔️ Phase 2: The Duel (Dismounted)

Once the horse's health or stagger bar is depleted, the Staglord will fight you on foot with a longsword and heavy shield.

Key Moves to Watch:

1. Vertical Slam (Unblockable): He raises his sword high and it glows red.
   • Reaction: Do not block. This will break your guard instantly. Use a Side Dodge.
2. Triple Slash Combo: A rhythmic 1-2-3 strike.
   • Reaction: This is your best chance for a Perfect Parry. Tap the block button on the second strike to stagger him.
3. Shield Bash: If you stay too close for too long, he will hit you with his shield.
   • Reaction: Keep a mid-range distance.

🤼 The Winning Strategy: "The Guard Break"

The Staglord has a very high defense. You cannot simply whittle down his HP.

1. Stagger Him: Use your Kick (F) and Heavy Attacks whenever he finishes a combo.
2. The Grapple Opportunity: When his stagger bar (the white bar under his HP) is full, he will drop his shield. Immediately press E (Grab).
3. The Finisher: Kliff will perform a cinematic slam. This deals 20% of the Boss's total HP. Repeat this cycle 3 times to win the fight.

🎁 Rewards & Loot

Defeating the Staglord grants rare materials essential for mid-game crafting:

• Staglord’s Broken Horn: Used to craft the Stag-Horn Greatsword.
• Heavy Knight’s Plate: A high-defense armor piece.
• Ancient Silver Coins: High-value currency.
