⛏️ 1. Iron & Copper Ore (The Blacksmith's Choice)

Upgrading your primary sword and shield requires huge amounts of Iron.

• Top Location: The Echoing Crags (North of Hernand Castle)
  • Why: This canyon is filled with exposed Iron veins along the base of the cliffs. Crystal Caves in the eastern region also offer rich deposits.
  • Pro Tip: Look for the Mineshaft Entrance. Inside, you'll find rare Copper and occasionally Silver. Note: As of Patch 1.00.03, ore veins are now automatically discovered when within 8 meters.
• Best Tool: Hardened Pickaxe (reduces the number of swings needed per node).

🌿 2. Healing Herbs & Alchemy Flowers

HP Potions and Stamina Elixirs are crafted from these common but essential plants.

• Top Location: The Whispering Meadows (South Hernand) & Ancient Forest
  • Why: The valley near the riverbank has the highest concentration of Sun-Bloom (HP) and Blue-Stalk (Stamina) in the early game. The Ancient Forest provides abundant Wood and Rare Herbs.
  • Pro Tip: Visit this area at dawn. Certain alchemical flowers only glow and become harvestable during the early morning hours. As of Patch 1.00.03, collectibles are automatically discovered when within proximity.

🐺 3. Thick Leather & Pelts

You'll need these for inventory expansions and armor reinforcement.

• Top Location: The Gray Wolf Woods (West of the Reed Fields) & Northern Highlands
  • Why: A high density of Gray Wolves and Wild Boars. A 10-minute hunt here can yield enough leather for a full Tier-2 armor set. The Northern Highlands offer elite mobs with fast respawn rates for efficient XP farming.
  • Best Method: Use the Longbow for "Clean Kills." Using heavy fire or explosives can damage the pelt, resulting in lower-quality leather.

💎 4. Rare Gems & Crystals

Used for imbuing weapons with elemental properties (Fire/Ice).

• Top Location: The Hidden Grotto (Behind the Waterfall in Central Hernand) & Coastal Cliffs
  • Why: A secret cave that respawns Fire Crystals and Quartz every 3 in-game days. Coastal Cliffs provide Fish, Shells, and Pearls for cooking and trade.
  • How to Access: You'll need to use your Grappling Hook to swing across the waterfall's basin to find the entrance.

1. Use Your Mount: Don't pick items on foot. Kliff can gather most herbs and small stones while mounted, saving you hours of dismounting animations.
2. Mercenary Gathering: Some mercenaries have the "Scavenger" trait. When you camp near a resource node, they will automatically gather a small bonus amount for you.
3. Check the Weather: Rare mushrooms and mosses only appear during or immediately after a rainstorm.
4. Drake's Fall Castle: Located north of Hernand, this ruined fortress is widely considered one of the best farming locations for Abyss Artifacts, Silver, and general goods due to easy enemy respawns.
